The Happy Chicken Tractor is a mobile, affordable chicken tractor perfect for your backyard flock. It has 5' by 6' foot print (cozy for up to 10 full-grown chickens) and comes to your house in one manageable shipping tube. No tools are required to assemble the frame.

The Happy Chicken Tractor is a great day care solution for chickens and ducks. It is covered with a heavy, non-conductive commercial-grade netting that will protect your birds from predators and keep your flock together during the day. For areas with heavy predator problems, we suggest electrifying the perimeter with a fence charger.

The Happy Chicken Tractory has 10-inch wheels and rolls easily around the yard. Secure it against blow over with the ground stakes (included). The basic sturdy structure is five feet wide and six feet long aluminum square tube, raised by a vertical post on each corner to afford full use of every inch of the covered ground. When you don't need it, simply take it apart and store it in the shipping tube.

The Happy Chicken Tractor comes in a 6' length and is less than half the cost of many others. The Chicken Tractor is also available in 12' length (special order), call for pricing.

Assembly requires NO TOOLS! Assembles in minutes. Comes apart when desired. MADE IN THE USA! WE ship UPS ground to the lower 48.

Looking for a chicken sitter in the Ann Arbor area?
If so, contact Olivia @ olipenne@umich.edu or (734)620-7574.
I am a college student at the University of Michigan who aspires to have a flock of my own. I currently live in an apartment and am therefore unable to keep chickens at this time. I offer my services and fledgling expertise free of charge in exchange for any opportunity to care for your birds while you are away or busy.

BrahmasI have Light, Buff and Dark, Brahmas. They handle the heat and cold well. Hens are quiet. Large birds, hens weight around 9lbs, that are slow to mature but consistently lay nice brown eggs. These extremely mellow birds, originated in Asia and were brought to this country in mid-1800's. Brahmas are exceptionally quiet, gentle, and easy to handle. Their small pea comb, great size, and heavy plumage make them almost immune to cold weather. The hens are good layers of brown eggs, excellent brood mothers and very children friendly for pets. They are on ALBC's watch list.

I would like $20 for a pullet (mature hen). It takes a while to discover if they are roosters or hens as they are slow to mature. I always have extra roosters too which I would give away if someone wanted them.

I am in northeast Tecumseh, MI about 20-30 minute drive from A2.

Also as the city hens age I would be willing to allow them to live out their final days with my flock provided they were otherwise healthy.

Anyone interested in laying hens to get an immediate jumpstart on fresh backyard eggs can contact me at (734) 709-9426 or email Dbower1@sbcglobal.net

I have Araucana, Maranz, Buff Orpington and Lacewing Wyandott hens. All starting to lay now. The eggs range from pastel green, pastel blue, to various shades of brown and even "chocolate" colored eggs. These birds are raised free range in the summer and in a coop and large pen in the winter. I can also advise on feed for the birds.
I am asking $15 per hen now. The price may go up in the spring.
